Every successful yard needs a great team behind the scenes and at Brook Farm there is a dedicated team looking after the livery and competition horses and ensuring the smooth running of the yard.

Each one is experienced and qualified, and all are passionate about providing first class care for the horses and owners.

Juliet Penwarden

Juliet Penwarden - Team Leader

Juliet is a British Horse Society accredited coach qualified to level 4 Senior Coach. She enjoys teaching a wide range of horses and riders and helping partnerships to progress. She is an advanced dressage rider and is currently competing at regional and national level.

With over 25 years' experience in the industry, she has competed with success in most disciplines and her broad knowledge allows her to help combinations progress in dressage and jumping.

Chloe Ling

Chloe Ling - Head Girl

Chloe has been at Brook Farm with Juliet for 5 years now and is Head Girl. She initially started as an apprentice and in that time gained her BHS stages 1 to 3 and her Grooms Certificate, she has since passed her BHS stage 2 and 3 Teaching and has her UKCC Level 2.

Chloe ensures the smooth running of the yard, takes fantastic care of the horses and the clients and is generally a vital part of the team. She particularly enjoys working with the competition horses and can be seen out and about with them at many of the shows around the country.

Imogen Darrell

Imogen Darrell

Imi has been at Brook Farm for a couple of years and is working towards her BHS exams. She has previously studied for her Diploma at Easton College and has also spent some time at the British Racing school and at other competition yards.

Imi enjoys all aspects of the equestrian world but is especially keen on her showjumping and can be seen out competing on her own horse, Foxy.

John Penwarden

John Penwarden

John primarily works on his own business building his amazing Shepherd Huts but with his Agricultural Diploma, he also takes great pride in ‘estate management’ keeping everything looking fantastic at Brook Farm and ensuring the grassland is kept in tip top shape.

We also have a couple of great part time members who can be called upon to cover if we are away competing etc., and a great support team of farriers, vets, physios and nutritionists – all helping to ensure the smooth running of Brook Farm and that all equine residents are kept to the highest standards.
